It is very hard to try and understand why still in our world an old

women should be among those who suffer from hunger. Very sad, no

mercy in our world, I wish it would be changed long time ago...

This is a bitter truth you show. We abandon each other without a thought in the world. We do it everywhere and we've done since the beginning. It makes the love we are able to find so dear. I wonder at the progress human beings have made, just in terms of our own humanity if you can call it that. That's worth a O=7. On just a technical note it seems soft. But it has a huge emotional impact, so whatever I subtracted for the focus I have to give back because of the soul of this. I think what makes your photographs work so deeply inside me is that you really care about your subject. Because you care that much you see it well. And how can you photograph anything without first seeing it. Everybody looks. Few really see.

Michael, I agree with both you and Kent. Often we choose not to photograph more painful images, as if we don't want a visual reminder. But it is for that very reason they are important. To me, you also managed to portray the beautiful human spirit in this person. Thank you.
