Really makes me wonder what I'm looking at...well done, with nice lighting.

Ive seen Ivan Coleman and Carl Root's eggs. Once you get over the surprise of the first time you see it, it becomes less appealing. However I have to say yours is quite good, it balances the colour and the texture. It also makes me feel like Im about to be sat on. Only criticism is perhaps a little too much shine, and the right hand egg doesnt have the same curves as the left.

Can't give you very high marks for originality. :-)

 

I like the color on yours - mine could probably be reworked to subdue it a bit . . . but the focus and lens choice is critical. I used a 300mm and a doubler to get uniformly soft edges on both cheeks . . . , I mean eggs.

yes it's a very view subject, but yours can open subjectivity.Nice shot with fine shadows

Nice effect Paul! I haven't seen others like that yet so for me it's very original. I think if you cropped it a tad from the top to the point where the 2 curves meet, it will look even nicer and slightly more 'convincing'
