Rose II

I have rescanned in an effort to improve sharpness. First scan not

so good. Please comment.

could benifit from a tighter crop

Nice rose. The central composition doesnt seem right. Perhaps a slight crop on the left. I think you want to keep the right side because of the interesting out of focus parts.

The color is good, and the only problem I have is that the surroundings are out of focus. I believe that is why the urge to crop comes into play. If the eye is not appeased by the lack of clarity, should that part of the image be left on the cutting floor? You decide... it is your rose.

For me, I like the line in my minds eye that links the main rose to the three out of focus roses off diagonally to the right. It is the line that brings balance. However, the space to the left of the main rose is a toss up for me. I can keep it or leave it. I like the garden that is surrounding them all. But, I can see where you, the viewer, may not see what I see. So, I have for you a cropped version that may help some with balance.
