Thanks Adam! Nope, no focus stacking or anything I only closed down the lens to F8 and I really should have closed it down to F11 or F16. 1/2000, F8 & ISO 1000 handheld shot!

Btw, it's a foggy day and I thought it's best that I shoot a bird about 4,5 feet away from me :-) . Then, I thought that I should shoot it like a macro shot and the Oly's setup fit the bill with a minimum focus distance of less than 5 feet (1.3meter) at 800mm equvalent focal lenght.

Grazie mille Giangiorgio! He did pose for me, a very cooperative fellow that allow me to shoot at the Olympus OMD-EM1 Mark II + Olympus 100-400mm F5-F6.3 lens at 4.3 feet (1.3meter) of minimum focus distance. My Canon 7D Mark II got a bit of a larger sensor (32%) than the 1/2 size 4/3 sensor but the Cannon EF 500mmm F4 IS has a 15.4 feet minimum focus distance and that yield a smaller image compares to image from this Oly's setup. Also, it's much easier to hand hold the Oly to shoot.
