Giangiorgio Crisponi 451 Posted December 7, 2021 Bravo TmJ. A beautiful series that shows the behavior of these birds of prey that with their wings envelop the prey to hide it and eat it in secret , ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
tm_j 30 Posted December 7, 2021 Grazie mille Giangiorgio! The behavior of covering up the catch is good for me but not for the photographer on the other side (there were 2 of us shooting this). It's my lucky day since I was shooting the Kestrel and run into this when I see the other photographer aiming at the grass and then I see this ... and snapped away with my Canon 7D Mark II + 500mm F4 IS Link to comment
tm_j 30 Posted December 9, 2021 Thanks Scott Edwardson! It's real bad for the rodent where I shoot this since there are all sort of Hawks and Kites .. ect that seem to catch them multiple times a day. Actually,, the birds sometimes becomes a pest such that they actually shoot them up after trying to relocate them with no sucess. It's an airport and the consequence of hitting a bird can be a dissaster. Link to comment
