I am not sure of their range of habitat but here's what stated about them and it seems they are in the Amrericas exclusively "The vermilion flycatcher is a small passerine bird in the tyrant flycatcher family found throughout South America and southern North America". So, may be that's why you don't see them :-) Link to comment
