vincentoiseau 83 Posted December 2, 2021 Hi TmJ, amazing capture of this 'breakfast moment'! Again, (half) shooting against the light has resulted in a detailed and superb photo of a bird. Great result with your EM-1 Mk II. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

tm_j 30 Posted December 3, 2021 Thank Vincent! Good to hear from you. Yes, this Olympus OMD-EM1 Mark II is really growing on me. I dragged out my Canon 7D Mark II + 500mm F4 iS to shoot today and after 10 minutes , I put it back in the trunk of the care and shoot with the Olympus. I think I will sell my Canon setup once I get it clean up. It's amazing when I only pay aproximately $450 for this OMD-EM1 Mark II, I pay more than that but it came with the bsattery grip which I sold and the actually cost of the camera is only that much. Olympus had a sale recently and I could have gotten a refurbished OMD-EM1X which is their top camera but I am not sure if the focusing is any better and had refrainded from buying it . tm_j 30 Posted December 3, 2021 Thanks Greg & Verena! I did not want this fellow (who I think is on a diet, LOL) but you get what you can (just like him, I think). I had old shots with much larger fish before and that tend to make me a bit greedy. Link to comment
