Allen's Hummingbird Stretching

Terrific capture! I love the fanning of its tail feathers and its beautiful colors.

We remember one of your earlier series with hummingbirds, I believe with some kind of a flash set up - stunning then as now!

Thanks Greg & Verena! Actually,, I gave up multiple flashes shooting Hummingbird after that summer 6,7 years back. This one is all natural early morning light and I am lucky to catch him stretching. I only two frames like this and that to tell him how quickly he did it. Sometimes, they would do it slowly and longer but not this fellow. I was aiming waiting shooting at 18fps and only catch 2 frames with fool tail spread.
