Just a question - the head and feet are tack sharp, do you know why the body looks so fuzzy? I would think it would be in the same plane of focus- maybe not?

Thanks Gregory & Verena! Very observant and perceptive there Mr. , LOL! I did not notice till you mentioned and came back to check. The bird was a bit dark (Ibis are not easy to shoot) and I used Shadows/ Highlight to make adjustment and that underbody seems to be breaking apart there. I've been shooting JPG instead of RAW lately (too lazy to play with RAW and try to reduce the number of hard drive). Adjustment to JPG are never very good and I tried to get the exposure right but it's hard with light birds, mediup birds, dark birds ...ect. I appreciate your inquisitiveness very much!
