tm_j 30 Posted October 28, 2021 Grazie Mille Giangiorgio! I enjoy shooting duck and especially the Northern Shoveler Duck (this one) and I always want to shoot in a series which works very well for me when I used my Canon 7D Mark II + 500mm F4 IS. However, now with this Olympus OMD-EM1 Mark II + Lumix 100-300mm it seems to be just as good (if not better in some way because it's faster even though the focus is a bit slow). Link to comment
tm_j 30 Posted October 28, 2021 Thanks Gregory & Verena! Good to hear from you, I only have been shooting with this Olympus OMD-EM1 Mark II + Lumix 100-300mm in the last 6 weeks or so. I am thinking of downsizing from my Canon 7D Mark II + 500mm F4 IS. As I get ..hmm hmm ... older I need to cut that 12+ lbs of the Canon setup down to something more manageble . So far, I seem to be able to get most images that I wanted with this new setup for a very minimal cost (probably 1/8 of the Canon setup cost). I think I am in love with this Oly (LOL). Of course, it's not perfect and I do wish Mr Oly go and poach some Sony, Canon or Nikon engineer that specialize in focusing /focusing speed and make this Oly better. Other than that, it's a great camera. Link to comment
