alas, the squacco heron is not present in my country, so I'm happy to see your portrait of it in flight. I like how you captured it so well in flight and got this very decent exposure; I know how challenging this can be. Beautiful background too! Kind regards, Vincent

Giangiorgio, it seems to me that you must have used the long end of the lens, given the bird's share of space in this photo, its magnificent coloration, and also its magnificent feather pattern.
