This an impressing half timbered Renaissance building got this name because the Hessian sovereign used it for stop-over after the 30-years war. In winter 1760, landgrave Wilhelm VIII. died here. Later this house served the governor of the Rinteln citadel as his headquarters. Then it was the county law court. Link to comment
