Giangiorgio Crisponi 454 Posted July 19, 2021 Michael your backyard is an explosion of bright colors, well blended together, a masterpiece of abstract art as your usual , ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted July 20, 2021 Hi Michael, your backyard surely looks different from mine! While I live in a concrete jungle with some added green elements, you seem to live in a landscape that is a mix of Kirchner and early Kandinsky. Lately I find your abstract work reminiscent of art works I have seen. That is most likely because I have seen a lot of art and tend to weigh my memory against the visual reality, which is mostly disappointing. But I like this colorful abstract composition, as it seems to be somewhere in between the extremes. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted July 21, 2021 Giangiorgio, you've definitely given me a swelled head by referring to this image as "a masterpiece of abstract art." I humbly accept this, knowing that your integrity won't allow to say something without meaning it. - - Gracie mille - - My best always, michael - - - Ciao! Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted July 21, 2021 Vincent, I am thrilled that the colors appealed to your artistic sensibilities. By no means have I studied or viewed art to come anywhere close to you. Indeed, I had to browse through a Wikipedia piece to get even a tiny glimpse at his work; I'm just very slightly familiar with Kandinsky. Again, you put me into good company. Best of all, you spent your tine composing a meaningful review of this image, for which I am very, very grateful. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
