Wayne Sadler 555 Posted July 8, 2021 As art should be - no one element dominates the composition. The image, taken as a whole, is a masterful composition. Excellent work, Evgeny. Link to comment
jekamobile 110 Posted July 8, 2021 Hello Wayne. Thank you for your thoughtful and warm comment. Honestly, I am not too sure about the composition. Something still is bothering me. This place is embraced by rocks and no morning light you can get to create a perfect composition with elements catching an eye. Still working on a better image to introduce it nicely. Cheers, Evgeny Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted July 9, 2021 Hi Evgeny, although I don't like the landscape as much as others you have photographed, I do like the photo. I'm a fan of square compositions (once, some time ago, I was saving up for a Hasselblad). In this landscape image, you show -yet again- your skills of composition and mastery of light. Everything in the photo, even the hole in the clouds, seems to be directed at the gletscher at two-thirds height on the right. Lots of detail to explore too! Very well done! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
jekamobile 110 Posted July 10, 2021 Hi Vincent. Sometimes I use squares to accommodate the better composition, intuitively. I am glad you found this a decent one. Thank you! Link to comment
