vincentoiseau 83 Posted June 22, 2021 Hi Evgeny, it's a good thing you mention this is a repost, as I can't remember seeing this photo before, although I've been following your work for quite some time. This is a composition that is recognizably yours; the image has a leading 'S'-curve (the river) around which the landscape seems to be laid out. The meandering river with its two water falls may take center stage here, but the detailed rocks with their scarce vegetatation and the fir trees as a blanket of green around the scene are just as captivating. Especially the light/color variations in the left background are interesting in the golden light of the evening (?). The photo seems a little less sharp than most of your other work, which doesn't bother me much. There is some color fringing at the peak of the mountain on the left. Great work as usual. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
jekamobile 110 Posted June 23, 2021 Hello, Vincent. This is sunset time, you are right. Sun just dropped behind the ridgeline. I decided to give this photo a softer look, trying to deliver a gentle beauty of that peaceful evening. want to be honest with you: I was never happy with the processing results of that picture, I tried several times and always something was scratching my eye. Like this fir tree, which is not quite in place (in terms of composition). or sky colors were not quite right. But as you probably noticed, some pictures have to lay aside for a while, before you can please your eye and ego with something you managed to reveal from that image. Many thanks for your attention and pleasing review. Cheers, Evgeny! Link to comment
