Giangiorgio Crisponi 461 Posted June 18, 2021 Flamingo take off - ( Phoenicopterus ruber) . Recently I am dedicating myself to obtaining more dynamism in my naturalistic photographs, enhancing the blur with the panning technique and low exposure times of no more than 50th of a second. The performance of the movement varies greatly and it is difficult to achieve the desired effect. I took this photo of the flamingo taking off with an exposure time of 1/50 sec, f / 25, ISO 320 with Nikon D850 camera, Sigma supertele 300-800mm, Thanks for your comments Link to comment
tai 3 Posted June 18, 2021 Delightful flamingos takeoff photos, Giangiorgio! Dynamic and expressive! This is the case when the blur enhances the impression. An excellent experiment result. Bravo, Maestro! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted June 18, 2021 Hi Giangiorgio, having looked at both take-off photos, I must say I like this one better than the other, because the desired effect is stronger in this one. The flamingo itself and the splashes it causes by taking off have all been beautifully - and dynamically- captured. The crop leaves just enough room around the bird and the colors are marvelously deep. Very well done! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 262 Posted June 20, 2021 Fantastic capture with use of panning so that the flamingo is still sharp as can be with picture taken with exposure time of 1/50 sec! My sincere compliments, Giangiorgio! Ciao! PDE Link to comment
