this is an unusual photo with a lot of mood. I think that was one of your goals with this shot. I like the toning/coloring and the composition. Maybe the image is just a tad too light to be as gloomy as it could be, but that's just my opinion. Well done! Kind regards, Vincent

Hello Franz: I hope this note finds you well. You know I follow your work steadily and I very much like your portfolio. This image immediately caught my attention because it is original and unusual. With the utmost respect, allow me to tell you that I have struggled for a long time myself with, and have not yet been able to make it work. I mean, the branches. If I am judging correctly, it is a photo-composite, which is absolutely fine by me. I do flow with the times although I am older and a stubborn late-adapter. Having said that, your "conception" of this magical landscape is fabulous, but, in my humble opinion (stemming from the difficulties and struggles I have had to do photo composites), even when the image is absolutely captivating, there are elements that are oddly focused. If that was your intention, then it is absolutely OK, the effect is transmitted. I do like a good conversation and exchange of opinions and technical points of view of a good shot, like this one!
