I like the way you composed it. Rocks fill the whole rectangular space - no sky - that makes it almost an abstract work.

Very nice in B/W. The right to right bottom of the image looks soft compaired to the other parts of this image. Maybe stop down a bit and adjust your focus to something closer.

Amazing landscape. I like your Bryce Canyon in color too, but this B&W seems the best to me. Nice contrast and tone arrangement. Excellent pattern.

Marek said it . . . I last visited Bryce when I was a kid, but if/when I go back with a camera, I think your composition would be similar to the way I would approach it.

 

It's interesting how people refer to this approach as 'almost' abstract, as if simply labeling it as such would some how be too daring. :-)
