Common redshank - (Tringa totanus). I photographed this Common redshank, in unstable balance, with Nikon D 500, Sigma supertele 300-800mm, f / 8, 1 / 800 sec, ISO100. Thanks for your comments

Charming bird, funny unstable moment and shot, Giangiorgio! It probably saw something delicious in the water. Pose, plumage, reflections ... are perfectly captured! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana

Hi Giangiorgio,

another impressive bird photo, that checks all the boxes! Wonderful composition, colors and clarity, and captured at the best moment posible, with the bird leaning forward and flapping its wings to balance itself. Kind regards, Vincent

Giangiorgio, having noticed a significant number of critiques already posted, I concluded that I could add nothing original. So, please accept my agreement with all of them. I never tire of viewing your bird images, which always inspire me to improve on mine. - - My best always, michael

Interesting & unusual pose here - caught in a moment of instability. What I really like here is that you can see the bird's plumage in such nice detail - probably would not see this so much in flight. - Aina
