girlzart 0 Posted February 17, 2021 I've just re-discovered my site membership after about 5years away and am inspired by the quality of recent work I'm seeing here. This piece is a gorgeous example of a technically perfect image. Strong composition, stylish, nothing trashy about the woman or pose. To a less experienced photographer the leopard skin would have been over-powering but here it is a strong statement. The photographer has caught her mood, in the cool stare of her eye. This is an accomplished piece of work that would look good framed and hanging above a polished marble fireplace in a Hall or Hotel. I do ask, why it appears to be without a Title? This is the first thing the eye looks for and "untitled" is un-memorable and doesn't do the piece justice. Link to comment
John Peri 1,033 Posted February 18, 2021 Many thanks for passing by JP, your comment is much appreciated. I agree that most artists do name their works and indeed many consider it an important contribution, but I wonder if it doesn't say more about the person writing it than the work itself, or maybe that's the point? In this case, it's the software that has named to photo, not me and even after all this time, I really wouldn't know what to call it, for me it's just Kamila .. Link to comment
