Giangiorgio Crisponi 454 Posted January 5, 2021 Double-headed griffon vulture for Pierre Dumas. I have photographed this Griffin (Gypsus Fulvus), that I turned with two heads, such as coat of arms, In the Monfrague National Park, Extremadura Nikon D500, Sport Sigma 150-600 f / 6, 1/2500 sec, ISO 450. tai 3 Posted January 5, 2021 Wonderful picture, Giangiorgio! You have created a new species of griffon with increased efficiency! Twice as many eyes, ears and brains! You made me laugh! Pierre will like it for sure! Well done! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted January 5, 2021 Hi Giangiorgio, Happy New Year! Very nicely done! I wonder if this rare species is a successful bird of prey; what happens when it sees a corpse in both directions? Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted January 7, 2021 Giangiorgio, as you already know, I am a huge fan of your work. Your photos of birds are technically sound and works of photographic art. However, it seems that you have delved into the realm of the mythological with this image. My research tells me that the Gandaberunda must exist either within your creativity or within a mythological world which can be travelled only by a privileged few. You clearly are among that group. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 454 Posted January 7, 2021 Dear Michael, I was surprised and amazed by your very nice and interesting comment. I did not know the existence of Gandaberunda, I inquired on the Internet and I was struck by both the graphic representation of the two-headed bird, and the beautiful story that concerns it and which I intend to deepen. Thank you so much for letting me know, there is always a lot to learn. ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
