Hunting Spatula - (Platalea leucorodia)

I photographed this Spatula (Platalea leucorodia), while it catches a fish. I used the Nikon D850 with the Sigma Sport 150-600mm lens, much more manageable than the 300-800mm I normally use, with good results. F / 8, 1 / 2500sec, ISO 400. Thanks for your comments

Giangiorgio, you've expanded my familiarity with bird species, having not heard of a spatula before. Although I know the following observation is often used to the point of being cliched, you definitely were in the right place and clicked the shutter in exactly the right time. As others already have noted, the lens was exactly the right choice. No doubt this bird is quite anxious to gobble up the fish; the relative position of the fish to the beak and the presence of water droplets below it provide implied dynamism.
