THOUGHTS BETWEEN THE SHOTS

jekamobile

What thoughts do you have during the photo session? Besides the ideas on how to compose the shot, what setting should be? Do you have time to enjoy the view, During the rush not to miss the opportunity to take the best possible photograph?

Hi Evgeny,

the questions you ask are so interesting that I almost forget to say something about the photo; it's nice to see an image with a human gazing at all this early morning or late afternoon beauty in order to realize the fact that you have to be there at the right time, in the right place to capture the view. What thoughts do I have during the photo session? Have I thought of everything that is important to this shot? How many different exposures? Have I captured the essence of what is special about this? Kind regards, Vincent

Hello, Vincent. Yes, you are right. There is always a rush - to make sure everything is right: settings, time, light. My point was: if you have time to enjoy the show. The more experienced shooter you are, the better you know your camera - the more time you have to slow down, take THE shot and then hold your breath and just look around, not thru the viewfinder, not for the matter of another cool shot. Just for sake of THE moment. Where you are, how lucky you are to observe and absorb this timeless experience - just to be there. I always carry with me Jetboil to brew a fresh cup of coffee. I love my coffee and those hand and soul-warming moments.
