vincentoiseau 83 Posted November 30, 2020 Hi Evgeny, it's pretty cool you have recorded the existence of this (probably) nameless hidden canyon! Although the surface structures of the canyon are interesting enough, in this photo they serve as little more than a compositional upbeat to the majestic mountains in the background, leading the viewer's eye to them. Your control of exposure is (again) obvious. Just below the edge of the mountains there is a shack (at about 25% from the left) that has a bright front or side that distracts a little. If this were my photo, I would crop off some of the sky, but that is a matter of taste. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
charo 3 Posted December 1, 2020 Hi Evgeny. Four years ago, I was lucky enough to visit Patagonia and El Chaltén. We did some hikes, but despite going in December, (already summer for the Southern Hemisphere) it was covered with snow. This image is wonderful and one of the best I have seen of the Fitz Roy. Kind Regards, Rosario. Link to comment
jekamobile 110 Posted December 1, 2020 Hello, Vincent. I always happy to listen to your opinion, as you are a very attentive viewer, especially for technical details. I really appreciate such a kind approach - an expert point of view. I would agree with what you just mentioned. I agree with crop. Huge thanks for your time and kind words! Link to comment
jekamobile 110 Posted December 1, 2020 @Rosario Portella Hello Rosario. I didn't expect that this photo has an impression on you. Thank you for the tremendous feedback. We were in Patagonia in April 2016. Last days of fall, right on its edge. We had everything, sun, rain, snow, frost. It was a great experience for us - an epic trip to Ands. I would love to return to this awesome place. Link to comment
