mural- Richwood WV

Laurent- used to be, also lumber. There is still a large lumber mill there. There is a concerted effort on the residents to re vitalize the town. It is near a National Forest and ski areas where many tourists have to travel through the town to get to. There are still a lot of empty store fronts, but there is also a burgioning gig economy. They have excellent broadband (unlike most of WV) and are attracting tech types from Cal. etc. Several elaborate b+b's. Organic restaurant...

Houses are still cheap. It is somewhat isolated, but aas long as you are willing to get your entertainment from the outdoors- it's great! hey also have one of the best schools in the co.
