A good demonstration of the view camera's ability to straighten converging verticals. It certainly helps convey the monumental size of this ancient building, which has long been one of my favourite photographic haunts (I've 3 shots of it scattered amongst my portfolio, which you're welcome to visit ;-) I think this type of image has good commercial value with folks like English Heritage, who own the site. Perhaps you should try flogging it to them? My only reservations are that I think the crop is a little tight and the colour looks a bit cool for this light - a smidgen too much cyan, perhaps. Might be worth re-shooting this particular angle at dawn when the main facades enjoy warm frontal light. Kudos for using the big camera, though. I've tried using a 5x4 but found the physical labour and time involved in getting the thing set up tended to stifle any spark of inspiration I might have... Regards.
