Birds of prey in flight - Egyptian vulture - (Neophron percnopterus). I photographed these vultures in flight in the Monfragou National Park - Spain. Nikon D500, Sigma 150-600mm, f / 6, 1/2500 sec, ISO 500, Thanks for your comments.

For the purpose of commenting,I chose this image primarily on an arbitrary basis. Although they are equal in quality. I think this one presents the vulture in a more interesting pose. Capturing a bird in flight is a difficult enough task, but doing so head on must be even more so. It clearly evidences the bird's concentration and focus, perhaps just before it swoops in for a kill. The colors in its feathers are sufficiently vivid without being overblown. - - My best always, michael - - Ciao!!

Nice photo of this vulture in a front position when it is more difficult to get a sharp image, ciao Sandor

Giangiorgio...This guy seems to have its radar set directly on you!Attach(digitally) a few engines below the extended wings and you have the perfect mega airplane design.Bravo for capturing the ''elegance'' of the flight!Salutations amicales-Laurent

The bird sure has a tremendous wingspan, Giangiorgio. Interesting downwards slope of the head. I like the position of the bird in the image showing plenty of space below it. Best regards, Paul.
