The song thrush (Turdus philomelos) has a characteristic song with melodic phrases that is repeated twice or more.

Wonderful focus on the eye, Sandor. I like the speckles on the breast. Great capture of this bird. Best regards, Paul.

Wonderful shot, Sandor. I wonder, is the song thrush closely related to the Wood thrush, which has a beautiful fluty song? Or perhaps the same bird, they look alike. Best regards, Bill

Thank you, Bill, for the nice comment. The wood thrush and song thrush look quite similar and both belong to the Turdidae family, but they belong to different genus. The wood thrush can be found mainly across North America, while the song thrush is mainly distributed in Europe, and has also been introduced into New Zealand and Australia. Kind regards, Sandor

Love the bird's undulation repeated in the background. Enticing lighting too. Excellent work, Sandor.
