Giangiorgio Crisponi 454 Posted April 8, 2020 Coitus interruptus. The mating of these flamingos was interrupted by a very jealous rival in love. Nikon D300s, f / 5,6, 1 / 1250sec, ISO 200. Thanks for your comments Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted April 8, 2020 There's lots of drama in this image, Giangiorgio, quite aside from the interloping bird. I'm referring to the strong contrasts, the appealing color palette, and the sharp detail. The bird taking a drink shows a bit of drool, and the one on the far right clearly has kicked up some bubbles in the water. By the way, I suspect that this image isn't the result of scanning film you used years ago. - - My best always, michael - - Ciao! Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted April 8, 2020 Hi Giangiorgio, a magnificent photo of these mating flamingos and a jealous competitor! It seems the mating itself isn't too interesting to the female, and the male is obviously disturbed by its rival. Your title is most appropriate. Well seen and shot.
