vincentoiseau 83 Posted March 27, 2020 Hi Michael, these blossoms could have been photographed by me; the image even resembles some of my photos of this subject. But I'm strictly speaking about the subject and the composition here. When it comes to the style of the photo, that's another thing. The execution of this painting canvas-like image is typically yours, Michael, experimenting with the physical appearance of natural subjects and creating a 'twilight zone' of abstraction, inviting the viewer to venture into land (relatively) unknown, aware of 'new frontiers'. I have always liked this kind of exploration of the potential of modifying what our cameras see. You are truly gifted in this field and I find most of your ventures very inspiring. Although our photographic styles are very different, there is a common denominator in our approach to photography, which I think is the amazement we both experience when viewing the natural world and the struggle to accurately show our fellow humans what it is that so amazes us. Thank you for dedicating this image to me, I feel honored. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
