aepelbacher 0 Posted October 27, 2003 I decided to upload something OTHER THAN Alaska stuff today. I'm experimenting with (and hopefully learning about) night time exposures. The lighting around this monument is drastic. The "ghosts" are the MANY MANY tourists that you can't avoid at any of the DC monuments unless you have National Park Service authority to close it down... LOL!! Anyway, comments or ratings are appreciated as usual. :-) Link to comment
WJT 627 Posted October 27, 2003 Hi Lou Ann! The ghosts at Mr Lincoln's feet are fine. The one on the wall to the right is great! The composition of the columns is good, too. I like the gold tones on the wall, but the yellow on the white marble of the sculpture itself is distracting. I think I would have used an 80B filter to correct for the color temperature. Mr Lincoln's right shoulder is a little overexposed. Regards. Link to comment
rita_borg 0 Posted October 28, 2003 whoa, lou anne, this is awesome! a lil bit over exposed on the top part of the statue, but other than that brilliant! Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted October 31, 2003 The contrast between the statue and the onlooker is very good. Well done, lou Ann! Link to comment
