Excellent scene and shot, Giangiorgio! Golden picture in every sense, Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana

The curlew is in line with the flamingo as it jumped in the scene all of a sudden and the autofocus sharpened on him, too much of a coincidence and I think it will be rather that the flamingo got in line with him by accident! However, a wonderful shot with golden colors and reflections and a great capture of a moment! Complimenti, Giangiorgio! PDE

Very nice separation of the two parts of the scene, Giangiorgio. It's like having two pictures in one. Wonderful colors, light and composition. Fantastic job of capturing this beautiful image. Best regards, Paul.

Hi Giangiorgio,

gorgeous photo! The warm sunset color adds a lot of mood to an already wonderful image of two birds of the shoreline, with the flamingo as an extra this time. The curlew with the crab would serve as more than enough to be the only subject of the photo, but you captured two birds in one marvelous shot. Very well done, GG!Kind regards, Vincent

Giangiorgio, if I didn't know better, I would think that you played with the image's perspective to the extent that the flamingo appears as a shadow of the curlew. (My flight of fancy.) You took full advantage of the sunset. The results are bold contrast, a magnificent gold throughout, spellbinding bokeh, and sharp FG detail. Quite honestly, until now, I had no idea what a curlew is. The crab in its jaws adds interest to an already fascinating photograph. My congratulations, as always, on fine work. - - My best always, michael - - Ciao!

This is just fantastic! The alignment of the birds, the selective focus in the foreground, the crisp focus of the curlew, the balance of light... I cannot think of any way to improve this!
