What an odd and compelling photo; it draws and keeps my attention. Everything works together here to break our lazy expectations and create an image that is at once novel and as comfortable and natural as an old pair of slippers. It deserves a place in my favorites.

a mysterious image that makes me look again and again. I think it's the flow of the picture's elements in space that makes it so appealing. The ribbon in the painting seems to to be moving over the sofa, while reflections and patches of light are permeating the frame from the left. You did a great job not to include the sofa's feet; they would have disturbed the notion of movement. I also like the play of lines. A fine image! Kind regards, Vincent
