Ray House 4,282 Posted January 24, 2020 Looks to be 55 thru 57 maybe, but no way a 76 T Bird. Link to comment
EddieF1 1 Posted January 24, 2020 Shay built some replica 55 T Birds about 1980, but no way it is a 76 T Bird. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 24, 2020 Michael...Good close crop shot of the rich colored T-Bird taking in the very identifyable porthole top telling me it is a '56 or '57 model as our colleagues pointed out.I like the car and the image!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted January 24, 2020 Ray and Eddie, in stating this car was a 1956 model, I relied on a sign that was placed nearby. I confess to not being an expert on vintage automobiles. Actually, the sign read "1956 Thunderbird." I just screwed up the title. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted January 24, 2020 Laurent, you also noticed my boo-boo. I'm glad you liked the image, nonetheless. - - My best, michael Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted January 25, 2020 Hi Michael, I don't know from what year this car is, but I like the angle that highlights its most interesting element, the circular side window. I also like the colors and reflections. Maybe a tighter crop would work even better. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted January 25, 2020 Vincent, I'm glad you found this image worthy of your time in viewing it and your effort in commenting. If by a tighter crop, are you recommending thatI crop from the right edge to eliminate the partially visible rear window? - - My best always, michael Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted January 26, 2020 Yes, Michael, a crop taking off the upper part of the top, the rear window and the greater part of the bottom, only the left part of the image unchanged. There's nothing wrong with it as is, but it would be focusing more on the essential parts. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
pablowarko 1 Posted January 30, 2020 Love that round window, Michael. The composition highlights some of the elegant aspects of the car. The wheel cover, that round window, the door handle, the chrome highlight around the roof and that great looking paint. Wonderful job of capturing the magic that once was. Best regards, Paul.
