Phil_Light 793 Posted January 21, 2020 @Scott - Total conscious decision to crop and eliminate the face. The model actually struck the pose and I liked it a lot. Hence this image. Done at the historic Edward Weston historical home in Carmel Highlands, California. Fine art figure workshop here. The emphasis through much of the work is to emphasize the forms, (kind of like seeing the tree instead of the forest) and not to make pretty pictures of models and their full features.
