michaellinder 16,611 Posted January 12, 2020 Giangiorgio, I shot this photograph in the area of Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Although there's no way I can claim to be your equal when it comes to bird photography, I thought you might like it due to this bird's getting a meal from a cactus. - - My best always, michael - - Ciao! Giangiorgio Crisponi 424 Posted January 13, 2020 Michael thank you very much for this welcome tribute. I always appreciate photos with birds as the main subject. This your image of this little bird that feeds on the fruit of a ferocactus is very welcome because it always intrigues me to find myself in front of a bird unknown to me, well represented in its natural environment, with good eye contact. the beautiful bokeh helps to focus the gaze on the subject. (It is likely from research on Arizona birds that it is a curve-billed.Thrasher), ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted January 15, 2020 Giangiorgio, I am most grateful for your sincerity and I am thrilled that you found this image suitable as a tribute. Although I didn't intend for you to do the research that I should have done myself, I really appreciate your doing so; we both learned from it. - - My best always, michael - - Ciao! Link to comment
