michaellinder 16,611 Posted January 3, 2020 Ken, I have a question. Is the Cobb a breakwater or a location (or perhaps both)? I love the composition/crop/perspective of this image. It's as if the frame is divided almost equally into two sections - one lighter, the other darker. If I really put my mind to it, I can see a variety of pastel colors in the sky. In reality, they are represented effectively by the variety of tones and shapes. The somewhat soft detail seems to fit perfectly with the sky, as well. I believe that I previously commented on your ability wit b & w work. Now I am compelled to note that this image is perhaps your very best. - - My best, michael Link to comment
Ken Ratcliffe 103,506 Posted January 4, 2020 Michael, thank you for another great comment which is very welcome and pleasing. The Cobb at Lyme Regis is a man made structure which acts as a breakwater, here is a link which fully answers your question http://www.lymeregis.org/the-cobb.aspx Best regards Ken. Link to comment
