George, thanks for the New Year's greeting. I wish the same to you. If I remember, I've seen color images of scenes like this, but I think that this one is far more dramatic. The layers of clouds, rock structures, vegetation, and a human presence via a house or perhaps a barn are presented by means of tonal contrast, sharp detail, and atmosphere. My congratulations on an exceptional image.
