michaellinder 16,613 Posted December 25, 2019 First and foremost, Ken, I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas. Having not seen a statue of King George III, the image really caught my eye. Interestingly, had George Washington worn the King's royal cape and had used the King's foot stance while crossing the Delaware, one might think they were twins. You captured not only the King's grandeur and his allegiance to Britain, but also his wisdom (in the form of the books). The contrast is dramatic to the point of perfectly matching the subject-matter. Finally, the dark sepia contributes to the image's overall strength. - - My best, michael Link to comment
