The blue-faced honeyeater (Entomyzon cyanotis), also known as the bananabird is found in northern and eastern mainland Australia. It is often seen in banana plantations, orchards, farm lands and in urban parks. It is one of the first birds heard calling in the morning, often 30 minutes before sunrise.

Wonderful capture of this great looking bird, Sandor. The head and body look so dissimilar. Best regards, Paul.
