michaellinder 16,611 Posted November 23, 2019 Quite a beautiful, natural, organic and dynamic image, Giangiorgio. The herons' colors complement those of the negation very well, resulting in a palette that, as a whole, warrants many minutes of viewing . The contrast is effective as well. Are these birds a mated pair? If so, which one appears to be off to find food or material for a nest? - - My best always, michael - - Ciao! Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 454 Posted November 24, 2019 Thank you very much Michael for your beautiful comment always very appreciated, in fact they are a couple intent to nest, both work in pairs alternating Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted November 24, 2019 Hi Giangiorgio, alas we don't see this species here in the Netherlands. These birds look great, and there's a story in this photo taht makes it more than just a document. The heron on the left is going out to get some food, while the one on the right is staying at their 'hangout'. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 454 Posted November 25, 2019 Thank you very much Vincent for your beautiful appreciated comment, in Sardinia we have many species of herons but we lack the geese that do not migrate to our island, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
