building at Wilhelmstein island

Graf Wilhelm zu Schaumburg-Lippe ordered the construction of the Wilhelmstein island fortress in the middle of the Steinhuder Meer 250 years ago

Wilhelm was an interesting man. He not only ordered the construction of the fortress, he ordered the construction of the island to. 1772 he ordered the construction of a Submarine called "Steinhuder Hecht". Best regards, Franz

Franz, this could be a museum piece. Aside from the simplicity and elegance that Vincent and Daniel mentioned, respectively, what I found exceptional is a slight illusion (whether intended or not); The door seems to disappear into the wall behind it. Outstanding work! - - My best, michael
