tai 3 Posted October 9, 2019 Wonderful mood image, Michael! When I saw the thumbnail photo, I thought it was made by Holger Stelljes. The mood of your picture in resonance with Holger's coastal photographs. I like it! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted October 11, 2019 Hi Michael, nicely composed shoreline photo that takes my eyes on a zig-zagging trip around these dunes. I like the relative insignificance of the people in the photo, they underline the grandness of this scene. The colors look like you have edited them to have a late 60's look. What's that brown stuff lying on the beach? Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 12, 2019 That's what I felt, Jack, while I was on this beach before I took the shot. Thanks. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 12, 2019 Tatiana, your reference to Holger certainly puts me in very good company, for which I'm grateful. Glad you liked the image. - - My best, michael Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 12, 2019 Vincent, I feel quite often that human beings can't significantly be compared with nature. Your keen eye noticed one of these occasions . Fortunately, standing on the beach gave me a good angle for capturing the gentle curvature of this coastline; I suspect this is what may have led to your commenting on "a zig-zagging trip." The brown stuff to which you referred is seaweed that's been contaminated wit red tide. Sadly, Florida's SE coast has suffered from red tide for the last several years, and this has affected tourism in the area. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
