michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 6, 2019 Jack, it no longer makes sense for me to mention your trademark features, since you clearly are aware that I easily can see them in (almost?) every image you create. The image makes me wonder whether the chef is as fascinated with you as you are with him. After all, he is positioned behind a transparent window. Or is he? I'd like to think that it's quite translucent instead, allow each of you to get a glimpse - regardless of its degree of fuzziness - of each other. I also like how the image's composition yields multiple sources of framing - the two verticals along each edge, the one along the left edge and another closer to the window, and the window frame itself. Simply masterful, deserving favoriting . . . Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted October 7, 2019 Hi Jack: Your magic and mastery come forward once again with this miniature bike caged, ready to be converted to sushi. Once captured by the Chef, the model is there for replicating and producing a truly "street flavor" bursting with all kinds of tastes and aromas. This is one of the most striking images I have seen. You manage to come up with complex and even more complex images of daily life. The many planes are mind-boggling....and, oh yes, your classic juxtaposition of opposites...the dynamic cook and the stationary bikes and the one shadow of the one waiting outside for the take-away order. Your B/W is just as savory and tasty, delightful as the meal being prepared. Onegaishimas! With a deep bow. Kiotsukete kudasai. DG Link to comment
