Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 30, 2019 Well, you sure got that right, Michael. Diagonals always seem to lead us out to another dimension while strong horizontals and verticals tend to pen us in the the one we presently inhabit. This picture definitely breaks away from the rigidity of urban play pen. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted October 1, 2019 Wow! A complex one Michael. It feels like the main (darker) structure will fall any moment on the viewer/photographer, while the superimposed structures manage to hold everything in place. The many different inclinations of lines are mesmerizing. I am sure in color you would not get the same powerful effect...although it may be a personal bias towards BW. DG Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 451 Posted October 1, 2019 A great job. The eye wanders over the entire surface of this image, stopping at details, reflections are deceiving and it is not clear which is the real building, the B & W enhances this image, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
Zbigniew Tyburczy - ZT 6 Posted October 2, 2019 Michael, B/W is an ultimate choice here. The photo is intriguing ! Regards, ZT, Link to comment
