Passing Through

The composition works very well, I think, creating depth on the left side through the procession of traffic from foreground to background while on the right side the string of lights beam off on a gradually ascending plane into the darkness. A very interesting use of spatial contrasts to achieve a dynamic balance.

Jack, some of the elements you mentioned - depth on the left side, gradually ascending plane, spatial contrast- I never would have entertained. What you stated indicates a depth in all aspects of photography that I lack at this point. Hopefully I can grow in that respect. Many, many thanks.
