bernath 2 Posted August 7, 2019 Damselflies can be easily distinguished from dragonflies by their thin needlelike abdomens. Damselflies hold their wings vertically and together, rather than horizontally and spread apart like dragonflies. The eyes of damselflies are always widely separated, as opposed to closing them together as is the case with dragonflies. Link to comment
