very natural looking, well-lit self-portrait. Your lighting setup certainly works well. My only doubt is about the background: a dark or even middle grey (at a greater distance from the model) would create some more depth in my opinion. Kind regards, Vincent

Vincent, thanks and constructive critiques are always welcome, thanks for noticing ways to improve, your suggestion is noted, I can easily put more distance between the subject and the back drop and the 85mm Art can produce a nice bokeh opened up. I was thinking the black was dark enough not to notice but on careful scrutiny I can see highlights in the material where the back drop was not flat. I have a plethera of back drops ranging from white, black, gray, red, brown....add to that dozens of gel packs that can be used on the back drop and it opens up a lot of possibilities.
