Flamingos at dawn. (Phoenicopterus ruber). The photos were taken at dawn at the first rays of sun from the top of a hill overlooking the Cagliari lagoons. Shooting distance about 1 Km ( 0,62 mile). This morning at sunrise the rippling water took on an unusual abstract pattern that I had never observed before and I don't think I will see again. Nikon D500, Sigma supertele 300-800mm, f / 5.6, 1 / 2000sec, ISO 100. Thanks for your comments

An exquisite image. It looks like the flamingos like King Midas wished that everything they touched would turn into gold. Best,- Sandor

Hi Giangiorgio,

again an outstanding photo that is almost abstract with these beautiful flamingo silhouettes. The water is like liquid gold. Kind regards, Vincent
