Great moment just before landing! Wonderful sharpness, details and separation from background. I wonder if I should exchange my Nikon 200-500 with a Sigma 150-600 Sport. What would you recommend?

Philip thanks for your appreciated comment. For this photo I used the 150-600mm Sigma that a friend lent me

not being able to carry my 300-800 which has a considerable weight. the Sigma Sport 150 -600 is much lighter and can also be used by hand so I think even your Nikon 200-500mm

Giangiorgio, aside from your ability and artistry with individual bird photos, you also have a knack presenting them in series. Again, for no apparent reason, I chose this one to critique. Although I would like to have seen the bird's wings in sharper focus along with the rest of its body, I don't see this as a a major deficiency. Instead of being able to see the edges of each feather, instead I reveled in the bird's wingspan. Birds of prey in general have spectacular appearances and simply beg to be photographed. You've taken full advantage of this, and I hop to see more. - - My best always , michael. - - Ciao!!

Hi Giangiorgio,

this is yet another wonderful action photo. Bravo! P.S. What do you think of the sharpness and the manageability of the Sigma 150-600? Kind regards, Vincent

Thank you very much Vincent for your visit and for the generous comment. The Sigma Sport 150-600mm that a friend lent me is very manageable and can be hand-held even without a tripod, the detail and the sharpness are sometimes not always at the maximum
